11th A3PS Conference
October 17th and 18th, 2016 at Tech Gate Vienna
The Eco-Mobility 2016 conference took place under the motto: “Feasible Propulsion and Vehicle Technologies versus Political Visions.”
In his opening remarks, Mag. Schädler from bmvit congratulated A3PS on ten successful years. He emphasized that A3PS is more valuable than ever, especially as the next decade may bring even greater challenges than the past ten years. While the ministry is committed to supporting A3PS, it also expects tangible solutions that benefit society.
In a special keynote, Klaus Fronius showcased examples such as a welding transformer and a control unit to illustrate the remarkable technological advancements achieved over recent decades.
He shared his personal “journey to the moon,” describing how he and a small team of researchers developed a groundbreaking hydrogen-based concept from ''a blank sheet of paper''.
As a founding member of A3PS, he expressed his confidence in the organization as a well-structured partner providing essential support—“because you cannot do it all by yourself.” He cautioned the audience about upcoming changes in the industry and emphasized the importance of pooling efforts to prepare the supply sector for these transformations.
A3PS is ready to rise to this challenge!
